Summer of 2019 has been really warm compared to the past years and being fashionable could probably be the hardest challenge for men as some outfits may start to become basic.
But today we are about to start this first look book on outfits we could wear in Manila type of weather without going out of style.
These outfits I've chosen has been documented early since January, and it took awhile for me to finally get this all up in a blog. Although in Instagram, these outfits has been shared since I have built a better way of associating my OOTD that I wear in Manila through this online platform.

"Ninong asan na pamasko ko?" hehe joke! For the first outfit of this look book has to be my number 1 favorite out of all because of the different textures that this outfit has.
Plaid pants has been my favorite go to style of trousers because it has a lot of diversity in fashion. It is a clothing piece that could simply boost the look of your basic outfit or it could be something you would wear to dress down for a formal event.
This type of pants has to be one of the fashion pieces I will never get tired of buying because it also pushes you out of your usual plain denim jeans to your simple colored chinos. It somewhats add flavor to your style! and it is a timeless piece in my opinion.

Something that I will consider the most when it comes to my outfits is comfortability. So on lazy days I enjoy pairing my Chino pants with "mandals" or as millenials call it "Jesus Sandals" because of its 2 strap design.
I have been actually into wearing sandals lately, specifically the 2 strap design like Arizona Birkenstocks and this is actually my 1 out of 3 pairs already that I wear alot during the summer. (I might probably end up making a look book on wearing those types of sandals in different colors hehe)
Moreover, I really love this outfit because of the Emerald green colored top from Bosini because it adds contrast to the nude colors of my Sandals and Trousers.

Another of that dapper "tito" look has been something I've looked forward to in adding in my style this 2019. The simplicity and minimalism of dressing less but still having the fashionable look is one of the biggest challenges when you live in a warm country like the Philippines.

Probably this is the less "mahangin" or "least ventilated" outfit of this look book for Manila, but i guess that's where the "tiis ganda" statement comes into place? hehe kidding. Honestly this style screams the "Trendy" type of guy because of the Pin-stripe button up shirt that has been a thing lately and somehow the button up shirt will still keep you cool from the hot weather in the Philippines despite its dark colors.
Honestly this is a style that went out of my comfort zone because I am really not used to wearing these style of polo's especially when there are no special events (Fun fact i wore this when i just went to the dentist) But I mean life is a runway right? And pairing this outfit with an all black chinos and high top converse classics as a subsitute to chelsea boots (Harry styles kuno outfit ba? hehe).
